Working in sculpture and installation, Rundblade generates a tension between alienation and familiarity. He is best known for experimental processes, uncanny imagery, and often unexpected use of space.

Rundblade’s practice engages the principles of the grotesque, using distortion, excess, and inversion to challenge conventional modes of perception. His work is characterized by an interplay between the visceral and the absurd, often confronting viewers with forms that oscillate between attraction and repulsion.
